For the Annual Exhibition of Paris Photo 2012, the International Fair of Art, Photography and Moving Images, Julien Frydman, director for this edition, invited Teresa Sapey + Partners to design the VIP Lounge.
Located in the Grand Palais in Paris, the VIP lounge is set in the luxurious Salon d'Honneur, designed by architect Albert Louvet. The main challenge was designing a temporary space that respected the surrounding context.
The playful fabrics and texture invite people to dance and travel in this space. The ephemeral component allows both the user and the architect to freely express themselves, and enjoy doing so.
