Sotheby’s Madrid headquarters introduce a new spatial concept for the brand: an elevated, calm and urban environment that moves beyond the typical real-estate office. Inspired by Sotheby’s origins as a historic bookseller, the design centres on a contemporary “library” atmosphere, supported by a quiet palette of off-whites and greige with subtle mustard and blue accents.

Within this framework, the project places special focus on its dining and social areas. A modular bar  counter was created as a concealed architectural element: discreet storage during office hours, and an open bar for events or VIP gatherings when activated. The employees’ kitchen and dining spaces were also redesigned to promote comfort and wellbeing, offering warm, functional areas for daily use.
