The FITUR Award is a sculptural representation of the multiple worlds that converge at the fair: cultures, languages, regions, customs, and ways of life. Composed of interwoven rings of birch wood—one single material that, like cultures, takes on diverse hues—it expresses how difference nourishes and enriches. Each circle represents a world in dialogue with the others.
The circle, a perfect figure with neither beginning nor end, evokes constant and harmonious movement. Its geometry conveys the idea of synergy: a dynamic exchange in which no world prevails over another; instead, all grow together.
